She turned her face into his hand, and said such things to him. His mere touch made her heart flutter? So he had the same effect on her that she had on him. "Kiri..." he said again. Everything he wanted to say didn't seem to come out right, he'd had this feeling before, where he wanted to say so much, wanted to thank her, wanted to tell her just how much she meant. Hours and hours of words, but he could barely get a word out at all. And how would be portray these words, these feelings?
He'd done it once before...and well, he would never admit that he wanted to again....as long as there weren't too many people around.
But of course there weren't any people around, the world around them had fallen away to nothing. It was just the two of them, on a patch of grass, floating in the endless sky. And so, it didn't matter how many people were around, and it was that thought that he pressed himself to her, savoring in the familiar feeling he had missed dearly as he closed the distance between their lips, letting his eyes slide closed.
They really had to start doing this more often.

Him saying her name like that made her heart dance, her nerves tingle, and her mind soar. For such an intelligent boy he didn't seem to say much, but he didn't need to. The way he spoke her name, the way he showered her with compliments, and his gentle touch. All of it spoke more words than a thousand books.
As he pressed close and their lips met her eyes watched him for a moment. She wanted to catch that look, the look of him kissing her. As she painted that picture into her mind forever she closed her eyes and lifted her free hand to slip over his neck. Her lips felt like fireworks were being set off on them, her eyes never wanted to open if it meant the kiss would last longer.
From happiness to misunderstandings to bliss. It might be one wild ride but if it was with him then it was all worth it. All the boys faded compared to him. To think she'd fallen so fast made her worry at first but now she just fell into the kiss surrounding her mind with nothing but him.

Locke felt, somewhere in the back of his mind, her hand slide around his neck. Even with the intimate contact they now shared, it was something special. She was pulling him closer, she wanted this as much as he did. And he too moved his free hand, to wrap around her waist. He didn't pull her any closer to him, but the hand lay there snaked around her waist, holding her close.
Maybe it had been days by now, perhaps snow had started to fall. Maybe it had been hours by now, perhaps the sun had set. Maybe it had been minutes by now, perhaps they were being gawked at.
Or perhaps it had been twenty three seconds of time frozen still when Locke pulled his lips from Kiri's, his face flushed. He felt the breath coming hard, and realized that he hadn't breathed a gasp since their lips connected.
So that was what they meant by someone leaving your breathless...

Head lost in a happyland of sunshine, rainbows and sweet kisses Kiri's eyes were still closed when he pulled away. Slowly returning to earth she smiled more brightly than she had all day. Her entire body felt like tiny sparklers where going off especially in the areas his hands touched. It was such an innocent action and yet it left her speechless.
After a few seconds of breathing to regain clearity she bowed her head and giggled. "Wow, I mean it. Wow."
If she knew kissing could be this amazing she would have insisted on doing it earlier. Or more often. Her chest was all a flutter like some fairy tale romance story. She could just jump into the air and soar she felt so light and happy.
"So, I think that jumped to the top of the best things ever on my list. How about you?" Giggling she blushed at her admission but didn't pull away. She wanted to stay close to him simply because he was the cause of this elation.

"Yea...wow." Locke said, still holding on to her and looking at her lovingly. He didn't ever want to let her go. It was warm here, and she smelled nice, and she felt...right.
"It wrote the list Kiri. And it's the top so far. I can only hope the next one will be even better." He said to her, not willing to release her either. "You know..." Locke said with a weird smile. "I don't feel embarrassed anymore. I want everyone to know how lucky I am to have you, so I don't want to hide it like it's something to be ashamed of. I want people to see how much I love you." He kept his arm wrapped around her waist but moved his other hand from her chin to the back of her head, pressing he close to him.
"After all. I'm special to have you. So I shouldn't hide how happy I am to be with you." He whispered in her ear.

This was a Locke she was not used to or have ever met before in her times with him. Intellectual Locke, bashful Locke, comforting Locke, sad Locke, all of those she'd met and knew pretty well. This confident slightly physical Locke was a new part that surprised her. That had her breathing a little oddly and smiling like a crazy woman, crazy with his touch and love.
"Locke...you're being so...I don't know. It's breathtaking, mind blowing and making me all gooey." She giggled then stilled as he whispered into her ear. Cheek as red as the reddest rose she lifted her hand to clutch at his coat.
"I don't think it's possible for me, not to show how happy I am. It's like I can't stop smiling." Since he was whispering so was she and being so close had her almost shaking. This was so new to her so different. It had her giddy, high almost with how his words sent her heart flying.
