Evil number two I choose you! Was she actually apologizing? He peered from beneath his hand at her trying his best to suppress the rage thrashing like a crazed beast. She was apologizing out of pity, or at least that's what registered in his head. Since he couldn't hold his sh*t together she was going to take pity on him. His eye flashed as the rage bubbled up again and a deep growl leaked through his lips. No, I won't turn into a monster dammit! This was not the place or time and there was no reason to shift into a giant freaking lizard. He couldn't even fully remember what his dragon form even looked like, especially now that he was a few years older.
"Oh, goodie let's play nicey nice because I'm acting psycho. That's brilliant." Snarling he backed into a wall away from her extended hand. "You want to start over, puh, that's funny. I'm not going to suddenly going to buddy up to you just because you pity me."
Lifting his head he closed his eyes his chest heaving as he fought it off. He bit down on his lip and winced feeling the sharp fangs pierce the skin. "Okay, lady, here's a tip. Don't piss off war dragons, 'specially weak ones who have like no control." His hands lift to cover his face as he bent over at the waist taking deep even breaths. The rage cooled to a simmer as he slid down the wall to sit, his knees curled up to his chest. Feeling like an idiot, a weakling, and a sorry excuse for a dragon (nothing new there) he simply sat there holding his knees to his chest.
"I don't apologize to people, so I'm not going to apologize to you. Yes, I'm a jerk. Yes, I'm a shrimp. And no, I will not respect you. If you want to start over super, but I'm still a shrimp with a jerkass attitude." After a moment more of deep breathing he lifted his head his eye still tinged with blood lust. "I can try to be less of a jerk, but I can't promise anything. Do you still want to try and start over?"
Giving a smart aleck grin he stared up at her still feeling his blood pound through his body like a hammer. He didn't forgive her for her words, or her actions but if he stayed angry he wouldn't be able to control the rage. So he chose the lesser or two evils, or so he hoped.

Aponi laughed - a light frivolous sound it was. Of course she pitied him. He looked weak, pathetic, and miserable. What wasn't there to pity? But that wasn't wh she'd apologized. She sighed and rolled her eyes, before sitting down cross legged in front of him. Why was he so difficult. He was a war dragon. It sounded impressive, so how could he be so puny?
"I wasn't stopping because I pitied you." She decided to skip the general pitying part. "I stopped ebcause I didn't want to get mauled by some kid with more power in his pinky than I have in my body. If you're a dragon, I assume you have to change forms to gain power." SHe said, improvising a little. She didn't really have a clue what she was on about, so she hoped it was kind of correct.
"And starting again would be good. In all truth, I don't want you to change for me. I'm not worth it. At least, not to you. I might be worth it for someone that's interested in my sex. That's the reason I go after little girls. I take people's life force in return for something. If I had contracts with guys, then they'd all want one thing. Get where I'm coming from?" She asked. If jadyn made some smart ass remark - she'd be pretty pissed. She wasn't trying to molester him, or steal from him. She wasannoyed at him for taking her for the worst person she could be.
Then again he didn't appear to be much the optimist. In fact he was probably fairly pessimistic. She wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have any friends. She felt pity for him for this, and she jsut wanted to hold him. But she had to restrain herself, or he'd get pissed off again She purred slightly, before re-arranging her leigion into the form of herself but ten years younger.
She didn't look all that different, but her features were softer, and he eyes more innocent. Maybe she wouldn't seem so bad looking this age.
"This, kid, is what I really look like. Just a little girl who's looking to survive any way she can. I pretend to look older, because guys won't go for a little girl." She didn't actually look like anythng, really, just a blob of leigion. But usually she went after her 27 year old form, but she felt that this form captured her better. A kid that made way too many mistakes.
"I know, you won't believe me. What grounds do you have to believe me? None. But If you have to pick any guise to associate with me, choose how I appear and sound before you now. Choose the way i talk, as the way you envision me." She said, and smiled, and stood up, holding out her hand to help him up, while transforming into her usual self.
"I'm Aponi Lebennon. 127. Demon. I want to make a deal with an immortal for life force. I want a handsome yound War Dragon to help me. Will you?" SHe asked. Jadyn didn't want to be friends. But she did. For once, someone had managed to convince her that she was in the wrong. She was kind of smitten now, and she blushed a deep red, as she realized this. That was jsut the way Aponi worked. She had to figure stuff out ebfore she could feel any emotion. "

Interesting, veeerrry interesting.
“You’re seriously laughing at me again?!” He snapped one second she was promising not to be such a b*tch and she was already laughing at him. But her words had his lips clamped shut though still a thin line in anger. Eye narrowing he tilted his head wondering if she was just trying to placate him or if she really was less powerful than he was. The only beings he’d ever met less powerful that he was were human beings, and even some of them could beat him up. The really big muscular ones sure but still.
“I’m not entirely sure on how my power or strength works all that well. I…I haven’t shifted in about four years.” Yes, lets tell psycho demon lady how incredibly inexperienced you are and that you don’t even know for sure if you can change back into your dragon form. Well, technically he hadn’t mentioned anything about that last part but if he hadn’t changed in that long of a time it told her that he was one weak dragon. But it also told her that he had at least enough control to keep from shifting for that long. “And I doubt I have more power than you let alone your pinky. I’m the runt of the litter, obviously.”
Leaning his head back he closed his eyes trying to continue the process of relaxing. Course her laughing at him did not help the process at all. He sat and listened while doing a breathing exercise he’d learned a long time ago when he was still trying to be a son his father could be proud of. “Who said I wasn’t interested in your sex? I mean I’m not about to jump your bones but it doesn’t necessarily mean I’m gay or something.”
He peered his usable eye open to glare at her. “For your information I’m bi, and if you need to feed so badly, and if you’d have asked nicely, I wouldn’t have minded giving you some of my life.” Closing his eye again he sighed his muscles relaxing as the rage eased away into the depths of his being. “And I get where you’re coming from, but not all guys are horn heads.”
At the sound of her voice he opened his eye partly once more finding a young girl in front of him. Before jumping or getting ticked off again he simply glared at her and listened. He watched he finally stand and offer her hand out to him once again. For a minute or so he simply sat and stared at her.
“Giving false flattery will get you nowhere. I have no idea where we might find an immortal, but I guess I can help you. But if I help you what do I get out of it?” He gave her a wicked grin as he grabbed her hand using it to help him stand up. Then he noticed that she’d blushed. Eye going wide he dropped her hand as though it were on fire. Why the f**k was she blushing. No one blushed around him, period. Dropping his eyes he suddenly looked very awkward and doing his best not to blush in return. It was a curse if he saw someone blush? He instantly started blushing.
“W-what? Did I do something stupid again?” His hand tugged at the edge of his shirt not daring to look her in the eye. “Well, what the hell do we do now?”
((ooc. It was not terrible ^_^ It gave me lots to write.))

Aponi frowned. The kid wasn't powerful. He was a wimpy dragon. The "Runt of the litter" as he so put it. In truth - he looked quite mennacing with that eyepatch, and his stance. The way he stood screamed - dangerous and lethal. Or lonely and afraid. Either one fitted. Aponi was concentrating on everything he was saying and doing right now. Because she'd had that one relaization. That one thought. When she noticed him blushing, she blushed even more.
She rapidly transformed into many different shapes before settling on her seventeen year old form again. SHe had been using that a lot recently, but she didn't really know why.
She realized that he had asked a question, however, and that she had better answer it. or she'd mess up even more.
"No, umm, you're fine." She realized, that she didn't know his name. "And, it wasn't false flattery, really. Or, rather, it was, not to say that you aren't attractive, but, it wasn't really supposed to be... real?" Aponi was making a fool of herself. Just because this kid was cocky and kind of brave, and fullof self pity, was no reason no go like this. But poni had always had Jelly legs and a weak stomach for the right kind of guy. Unfortunately for... She really did need to know his name.
"Well, before doing anything else, knowing your name would be great." She said, smiling. She had already introduced herself several times to him, with no response as regard to his own name. That slightly annoyed her, but, it didn't really matter. He was just shy.
"And after that, I need your help!" She said, and smiled.

Grin, wink, and walk away. He had no idea what was going on in her mind right that moment but he sorta didn't care. This woman was confusing, frustrating, aggravating, infuriating, and just plain different. Not understanding her blushing he figured she just felt awkward for him almost freaking out on her, and that she hadn't been too nice to him. Honestly he had no idea why she was blushing but he was at least able to stop himself from getting too red in the face.
"Not supposed to be real? What the heck does that mean?" He crossed his arms over his chest giving her a look. As though he were saying 'oh yeah let's see what you dish out now, push me I dare you'. Even though he didn't have the power to back his words, actions, or body language up he still did it. He wasn't going to live his life cowering behind his lack of strength.
Eyes narrowing he gave that wicked grin again lifting his arms to interweave his fingers behind his head. "My name? Why should I give you my name and help you? You still haven't told me what I get out of this. It better be good to after how you've treated me."
Turning on his heel he started walking off what she probably didn't know, if she didn't know where the girl's dorm was, was that he was taking her right where she wanted to go. "Unless you make a freakin' awesome offer here lady I ain't helpin' ya." He called over his shoulder grinning like mad. If she truly needed his help she'd come up with someone or go find somebody else. Either way it would most likely work out for his betterment. One way he'd just move on with his day and not have to deal with her anymore. The other way he got something out of it all and something amazing to boot.
"Oh, and I don't want money. I don't want sex. And though I prolly need a body guard I don't want to have to spend that much time with you. So good luck with coming up with something." He really hoped she came up with something because it would be intriguing and much more exciting than his normal life. After walking a few feet he stopped and turned halfway and with his impish grin winked at her before continuing on. Sure he was an ass but he could play just as much as anyone else.

Aponi looked distressed. What could she give him!? He was just playing her now. She should go find someone else. Now it was him pissing ehr about. SHe deserved it really, and she knew it. Due to her addictive and slightly obsessive personality, she had become helpless in a matter of minutes.
There was also the growing need for life force. If everyone pissed her about like that she'd never find someone suitable, and shivel up and die, or turn to dust, or some such thing. Maybe striking a deal with jadyn would be a good idea... if he wasn'tinterested in ehr sex...
But, she was interested in his. Damn it.
"But, please, please!" SHe cried. "All I can give you is my body. I have no money, I own no things!" She begged. How could one stupid kid be doing this to her!? She was getting quite annoyed but there wasn't much she could do. She was, as he said, a crazy lady.
"I can make things! I'm a demon of ash and dust, I could do thigns!" She was on her knees - even as a seventeen year old she was considerably taller than he was - and she had her arms around him, pleasding. WHo knew such a child could reduce her to this? Her father would be ashamed.
Leviathan Lebennon had been a strict father. But very very loving. Rather, he had definite boundaries, that his children were not to cross. Aponi also remembered him as being very very powerful. He had sucked the life right out of a Gifted who had atacked their home. He was also very very very old. So old, in fact, that he featured in the legends of some peoples.
Aponi knew that he would not care to see his daughter groveling at the feet of some weak child that owed her nothing. That was jsut how low she had sunk. She dared not pity herself, for that was one of the worst things she could do.
Finally, something in her snapped. No matter how she felt, she wasn't going to take this crap. She would at least know his name. She stood up, and grabbed him and pushed him against the wall. She leaned in close, hopefully too close for him to be comfortable.
"Look, kid, tell me your name, or there'll be hell to pay." SHe said, beore leaning down, and kissing his neck gently. If she did things gently - yes, gentle. He would be so much more scared. She pressed ehr body against his making sure he would be unable to escape unless he really did go scitz.

You drive me craaazy! I can barely breathe. You drive me craaazy. Why won't you leave me be? For a minute there he didn’t think she was going to follow him or say anything, just let him go on his merry way. Well, it wasn’t exactly merry but you get the point. At the sound of her desperate call he stopped dead in his tracks. Was she begging? He turned slowly dropping his arms to his sides with face covered in absolute shock. No way, she couldn’t be, but she was.
Unexpectedly she was on her knees in front of him her arms around him making him stumble slightly. Waving his arms to keep balance he stared down at her in disbelief. Where was the arrogant, conniving, pushy crazy woman from before? This was just plain weird and he had no clue what to do. If she started crying he was going to feel like an utter a**.
“W-what are you doing? I said I don’t want you for that! I’m not that kind of person.” He snapped reacting the only way he knew how: with anger. “Get up! Don’t grovel, especially not to me.” His hands dropped to her shoulders attempting to get her to stand up. Such a strong person should not result to this, not for him, not for anyone, but above all not for him. “Please, get-“
And she was up and slamming him against a wall. “What the hell?!?” She was utterly insane! One minute asking forgiveness, then blushing, begging, and now she was getting mad again? Maybe? “Hell to pay?”
He was so incredibly lost and confused. This one female had taken him up and down so many times in the past half hour that he was getting dizzy. Then her lips were against the sensitive skin of his neck and he sucked in air in a gasp. His hands flew up to grip her upper arms and his eyes closed as she pressed her body against him. This was not normal this couldn’t be normal. Women didn’t really act like this did they? None of the one’s he’d ever met had. Course he was mostly used to dragon women so maybe that wasn’t a fair comparison. Trying to make sure he didn’t lose control or hyperventilate he tilted his head back taking deep even breaths.
“Don’t do that. I told you I don’t want payment like that. Don’t degrade yourself for me. I’ll feed you without payment. Just…don’t do that.” He shivered turning his head away from her having never been treated like this, which should be obvious since he’d never been kissed either. Opening his eyes slowly he turned his head just enough so he could gaze at her. She drove him nuts both mentally and physically like she knew just which buttons to push. “You are crazy, you know that?”
Jay pushed a bit trying to get her to back up not wanting her pressed up against him. For one he was a teenage boy with hormones, and secondly he didn’t trust her so close. She flip flopped on emotions quicker than a kid with ADD surfing TV channels. Up down, mean nice, gentle fierce, it was throwing him into a right tizzy. SO much so that he just used tizzy while thinking this through. This was nuts things like this didn’t happen, to anyone! Crazy, insane, psycho, bi-freaking-polar. But dang did she do a number on him.

Degrade herself? When that's what she actually wanted? As a seventeen year old, it may have been the age affecting her, but he drive - no, it was like a crazy lust- was incredibly strong. She simply walked away fro him, shaking her ehad. What was she supposed to do? She really needed life-force but she wasn't going to get it from him. At all. There was no force on earth that could make her. So she'd HAVE to either use him in one of two ways.
A)Was basically rape, not an option. But verry tempting...
B)MAKE him guide her to the dorms where she'd find someone more suitable, who'd be likely to live longer if she did it.
She chose option B. Quickly turning on her heel to face him. The chosen method; Sexual Threats. He'd seemed to react to it before, and he'd only get violent again if she threatened him physically. And it'd just make the entire process that much longer. Aponi's messy brain and all-over-the-place emotions could tell her that. She felt like punching a wall and sobbing at the same time. That was usually an indication it was lunch.
"Kid," SHe said, in the most grown-up voice she had, "You'll take me to where I need to go - that is, where I can make a deal with some whiny brat - or I'll do much, much worse than kiss you on the neck..." She drawled with absolute glee. Little boys were so fun. She walked closer to him, the dust in the air gathering in her wake, leaving little trails. Two dark brown cuffs appeared on either one of Jadyn's wrists and legs. They rendered him unable to move, unless Aponi so wished for him to - unless of course he broke them. Which would have emant his body breaking 127 years of experience honing HER abilities. WHich she doubted highly.
She elaned in so close, that their noses were touching, and she licked her lips - her tongue brushing Jadyn's as it went past. She tittered girlishly. He would probably be even more freaked out, but Aponi didn't particularly care. She looked closely at his eye, the fact that she couldn't see the other didn't bother her in the slightest. It was icy blue and piercing, and sent a shiver of exitement down her spine.
"You, kid, are going to give me one thing I want today. I don't care what it is, but I'll take it by force if I have to." She said, ebfore winking. THis guy really would give her what she wanted, even if it killed him to do so. Jeez, all she wanted was directions or something. And it had resorted to this!?

Ragging midget, snarling dragon.
Relieved that she had backed off he took deep even breaths then jumped on the opportunity to get angry again. "Don't call me kid. I don't care how old you are." Old Hag He thought scathingly his blue eye flashing with the anger that was readily supplied. Then she started walking toward him with an evil look in her eye and dust swirling about her. Chains were suddenly binding him and though he rattled them he couldn't break them. Throat going dry he lifted his gaze up to her fear starting to flutter in his chest. "I-I t-told you I'd help you."
He backed away from her as far as the chains would let him but she moved even closer her face way too close to his. Her tongue touched his mouth before he could turn his head and his eye went wide his cheeks reddening. Chest tightening he almost choked for air as he yanked on the chains wanting to get free. "Fine! I told you I'd help you okay? I'll take you to the girl's dorm." He bowed his head trying to get control of his wildly beating heart and fight off the strong feeling of rejection. Once again his weakness meant that he wasn't good enough for someone.
That self pity roared upward in the only form his body knew how to deal with it. Rage. Snarling he yanked up with the chains violently but still she was too strong. "Now let me go you controlling, psychotic, perverted, old, demon hag!" Instead of stopping the boiling rage he let it build. If she was going to flaunt her powers over him then why should he care? This time he lunged at her lashing out with his now clawed hands but yanking to a halt when the chains reached their end.
"I hardly doubt your precious chains will hold a dragon." Smoke leaked from his mouth though he knew no fire would come, but it was at least intimidating, or he thought so. "So let me go now before I change my mind in helping you." She should have stuck with the have 'pity on me' card make him feel bad for the things he'd said. Now he just wanted to rip her throat out. Maybe letting the rage lose wasn't a good idea after all.

Aponi raised her eyebrows and lauhged a melodic laugh. This guy was almost as crazy as she was. But more of a midget. She ignored his comment about not calling him kid. What was she supposed to call him!? He was so frustrating! It annoyed her, which only served to make her more exhillerated, jsut like his stupid claims of being a dragon and breakign ehr chains. They weren't exactly the strongest thigns in the world - braking them wouldn't be a problem.
"Fine. I'll release you, but I won't stop calling you kid. Because that's all I can call you." She relinquished the chains about him, and the dust swirled about her. She was still going to be wary around him. No matter what he said about helping her.
"Lead the way then, dude." She said, deciding that it was best not to push him even further. may pissing off a dragon wasn't the best Idea, even if he was a "runt". She realized that she'd be learning a lot more about the various magical creatures during ehr stay here. She smiled for effect and stuck ehr hand out, an indication for him to lead the way.

Emotional roller coaster ride.
Once the chains were gone he seemed to instantly calm down it had been the chains binding him like that it had triggered a fear response in him. Or at least that’s the excuse he was going with. Rubbing his wrists he glared at her for a moment before staring at her quizzically. “What do you mean that’s the only thing you can call me?” Then it clicked he’d never given his name. “Oh. Right. Name. You can call me Jay.”
There now she couldn’t call him kid, or well, technically she could but now she didn’t have an excuse like she had before. At the word dude he rolled his eyes still rubbing his wrists having found it very stupid to strain against the chains. Still on an emotional roller coaster because of her he started walking warily his gaze continually flicking to her. A part of him looked because she was crazy, another part of him looked because of the memory of her so close to him. Her body had been warm and her eyes so close as made his chest react funny.
Shaking his head to try and clear it he shoved his hands into his pockets one hand gripping a rock he often carried to help with stress. He used to carry a stress ball but when he kept popping them he decided to go with a rock. A rock he could squeeze all he wanted and usually nothing happened. Only once had the rock crumbled in his hand and he’d almost changed directly afterwards. It had taken a lot of work to calm down after that. As usual after getting worked up he took slow even breaths trying to think of pleasant things that would not start another rage wave.
“So…how often do you need to feed?” Might as well use her to help keep his mind occupied better than thinking of her tongue flicking across his lips. He shook his head again glaring at his shoes as they walked along. No, she was nuts. A perverted, ancient, demon lady who was manipulating the sh*t out of him to get what she wanted. No way was he going to start thinking like that. Well, maybe a little but it would come to nothing! Absolutely nothing. Besides she obviously hated him. Nothing….nothing…nothing...dammit.

Aponi smiled at his name. "Jay". she thought to herself. it was a nice name, she smiled, with her eyes closed to make her face look more happy. She followed him down the hall which was at first, presumeably an awkward silence. The demon had never really liked these, but she never quite knew how to break them. SHe thought of how she had felt about Jay before, and blushed in embarrasment, and partly because she still thought the little dragon was quite cool.
She decided that a change of costume was in order, and she changed the clothes on her body into the form of a simple black dress. It showed off her shape well, without having to be too revealing. She liked things like that. it emant that there was still an element of... surprise...
She laughed when he said the word "feed". It wasn't so much a mocking laugh, as a girlish titter, but it was usually hard to tell with Aponi.
"Jay, dear, I'm a demon, not a vampire. We don't feed. We just make agreements. We don't TAKE life-force. People give it to us. That's why I'm looking for a fae, or an immortal person. Y'know, so i don't actually shorten anyone's life. I bet dragons still have lifespans, allbeit really long ones." She winked at him and continued to walk. She had a feeling they were getting close.
The young boy seemed to still be angry with her - for this she felt sorry, but idn't know what to do. He would probably reject any displays of affection. She felt awkward with such a child that he would not appreciate a hug, or a handshake, even. He probably didn't appreciate her smiles. This saddened Aponi a great deal. She stopped.
"Jay, are you... lonely? Ipicked you out because you looked kind of... bored. But, do you have many friends? Someone like you should have lots of friends, right?" SHe knew the answer, but hoped desperately that she was wrong. how could he get by day o day without any friends? Maybe he had a few, she thought, and took hope. But it was doubtful, because of the way he had reactd to her. Maybe it wasn't true and he had just been waiting for his friends, and he really WAS an a-sexual.
But, you could never know unless you asked. The poor boy had that lonely demeanour about him as well. The way he acted, everything nice she had actually said...
Thrown back at her. She suddenly felt very angry, and the dust started to rise, whipping her hair up. How could such a cute good-looking guy get rejected by everyone!? Maybe he wasn't the strongest of people.
But her anger soon settled, as she realized that it might have been his own personal prefference not to keep company. Maybe everyone ehre was rubbish. Well, she hoped she'd soon find out for herself.

Attempting civility, and it's not going so well. Mostly keeping his eyes forward he luckily did not catch her blushing again as it would make things even more awkward than they already were. Though he did notice the shifting going on beside him and he turned to find her in a fashionable black dress that made not thinking about her very freaking hard to do. It wasn’t like she was walking around in a bikini or something but he found girls who flaunted it to be just distasteful, and the fact that she had some modesty made it more appealing. He rubbed the back of his neck turning to stare at the wall as they walked along.
“Are you sure some of your kind don’t Take the life force? Or do you just have a small sense of honor? Cuz I’m pretty sure there are those who just take it.” Even if it wasn’t the mass majority of demons there were always those in a race that used their traits to diminish others. “And yes we have long lifetimes. Not sure how long, but I know they’re flippin’ long. I know a few old dragons I wouldn’t mind seeing keel over if you know what I mean.”
It had been weird to hear his name come from her though, and even more so when she had added dear to it. Then she just had to add the wink it was like she was purposely messing with his head. Wait, no he couldn’t think that. She was probably just being herself. He shoved any odd stirrings he had coming from her and just resolved to be angry. It seemed to be the best path to take when dealing with her anyway. That was his plan until she decided to ask him a question that almost made him stop in his tracks. Tell her the truth? Lie? Or be sarcastic and lie to see if she gets it?
“Lonely? Why would you think I’m lonely? Just because a person is alone doesn’t mean they are lonely.” He linked his hands behind his head his voice deadpan as he answered trying to make the fact that in all actuality he had no friends what so ever not a big deal. Even if the truth was that he was lonely, horribly lonely, but he wasn’t about to admit it. Least of all to her. “Someone like me? What do you mean by that? An easily angered, midget, dragon who happily insults people?” Jay grinned at her returning the wink that she had given earlier.
At the sight of the dust swirls he did stop this time and gave her a look. Why did she suddenly looked ticked off? “What’s wrong? Did I say something bad again?” He dropped his arms back to his sides ready to be annoyed if he’d somehow made her mad. Here he was trying to hold a decent conversation for once and she was getting mad. Women.

Aponi stopped abruptly, what Jay had said filtering into her head. He wasn't lonely. She smiled and her anger quickly subsided. It was good, because she would have either gotten snappy, or done somethign stupid and she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of the boy. She smiled.
"That's ok then." She said, confidently. "And yes, someone like you. Someone who just happened to be sitting on his own listening to music in a room full of people his age, and who got picked on by a perverted hag like me." She shrugged before chuckling and winking. "Everyone likes their privacy. But, as you well know, an annoying habit of mine is depriving people of their privacy." She laughed lightly, like a tinkling bell, and turned to Jay.
"I'm sure there are demons that trick people to give them life-force but an agreement has to be made. But I'm quite nice with it. Or, so I like to think. I always take it from people who are immortal. And I never force it upon anyone, or cheat people." She actually thought back and realized that she'd never made a pact. She'd always ahd her djin friend conjure people up for her. But still - she didn't want to be a bad person so that was her goal.
"I'd consider you, but there isn't much I can give you. And, you're not immortal." SHe winked. "Even if you do live to be an old person like me." She laughed and stretched her joints.

The end of the rabbit hole.
He just did not understand her at all. At least she had bought the whole not lonely thing. At least he could still lie. But at least they were having a conversation without ticking each other off. It was actually kind of nice and at least his mind had wandered from those other thoughts. Hopefully he didn't have those again any time soon. Those were just..."Yeah, personal bubble popper of the year."
Jay grinned at the wink and swallowed hard at the laugh. She had a really nice laugh. He obviously didn't know anything about demons but he didn't read up on the different races anyway. "Odd, I figured you to be the tpye to wring their lives from their bodies. So feisty and dammed demanding." Another wink on top of that to make sure she knew he was just kidding around. Sure it was kind of an insult but he wanted to know he didn't really mean any harm by the words.
Rolling his eyes at her comment about him he sighed not wanting to push that subject again. "Okay, I get it not your cup of tea. I'm taking you to find a cup okay?" He knocked on a random door and when no one answered he pushed it open with a flourish.
"There. Go ravish a poor innocent girl already." Jay turned to lean against the wall next to the door and stared off down the way they had just come. Arms crossed over his chest and a foot planted against the wall he waited for her to say some snide comment and leave. He'd finally get rid of her and go back to his head phones and solitude. He could just jump for joy...sarcasm by the buckets. Even if she ticked him off at least it was something to do. At least he wasn't alone.
