History: Karmine loves spending time among the other races, especially humans. Though he finds them inferior, as most fey do, he also finds them an amusing and infinitely entertaining race. Their quirks and habits are as enjoyable as the most clever riddle or difficult puzzle. Though he always keeps his loyalty to the fey, he does not interact with them much, preferring to keep his own identity hidden behind the guise of a simple warrior. He has not discovered yet that his disguise is several hundred years out of style, but that never seems to bother him. His affinity for illusions has helped him to dodge more then a few tight spots when people attempted to attack him, and he tries to avoid returning to places where he has been forced to reveal his nature. Wind control is genetic in his family, due to a pact his ancestors made with the spirit of the wind many millennia ago. Any de Arcadia will posses this power, no matter how diluted the blood. It is rumored that if one is able to offend a elemental force, the gift might be rescinded, but who could know?
Personality: Playful and easily excitable, Karmine is one to enjoy a game more then anything serious. He has had allies in the past who viewed him as more of a liability, simply because of his inability to commit to anything, mostly due to his insatiable curiosity. He will stay in highly populated areas, even if it makes him stand out, he loves being the center of attention.
Family: Karmine is a full blooded fey, a rarity in this day and age. The whereabouts of his father and mother are unknown to him, as his wanderlust has had him lost for a very long time. He has a twin sister named Riana who looks very similar to him, and since they both have long red hair they have been confused for each other before. He has no other living relatives, and he does not keep in contact with the fey realm at all.
Why is he here?: Simply to find new people to interact with. That is all there is to it. Karmine does not have in depth plots or secret desires, these things are nowhere near as important as having a good time. Currently he accepted a job teaching at the Academy, though he 'class is more relaxed then any you have ever experienced.
