Rebel lives in a wonderful and darkly exotic haze. She herself is a raw, brilliant, powerful character, elegant and explosive with the ace always tucked up her sleeve. She's a child of the underworld.
Rebel Genvieve La'Beau is a media darling. Her mother Vivienne, is famous French fashion designer and her father Christian, a wealthy Engineer. Her mother used to bring her clever daughter to work as a child, and before long, her fellow designers and fashion photographers were more interested in the sweet little Rebel, than any work of fashion. She spent her younger years winning beauty contests, modeling in her mother's shows and wooing everyone along the way with her undeniable charm, not to mention with a little help from her Gift. By fifteen she had begun designing a clothing line with her mom and by sixteen she had been on the cover of nearly every fashion magazine in Europe.
But somewhere along the line, Rebel hit a rebellious steak and practically overnight, her Barbie looks disappeared, leaving a mess of hot pink highlights and a nose ring in their place. She started wasting too much time at the VIP clubs and behaving much more like we know rebellious, spotlight crazy heiress' to behave. After six months of messy deviance, constant media attention and a possession charge, Vivienne couldn't have her daughter polluting their families name any longer, and shipped her off to one of the best Academy's money could buy, which also had the pleasant bonus of being in the middle of nowhere, and far, far away from home.
