Cerridwen smiled slyly again and shrugged. "You think I'm toying Rae? Try me" She arched a brow challenging her. If there was one thing Cerri loved to do, it was toy with Rae. Though in this case she was pretty damn serious. Sure she was allowed to have some kink. She liked kink. It wasn't a bad thing to her. Plus Eryk was just...he got old sometimes and maybe it would be nice...once before she tied the knot to just once have Rae help her play around a bit. Eh, those were thoughts for other days, right now she had to focus on getting through lunch and thinking about Mae's birthday.
"Rae...yeah." She said finally and nodded. Best not to start anything. Cerridwen just couldn't see though, how could Rae really understand Cerridwen's protective issue's? She had it bad...call it blood of a fae knight, or just she was going to be a wife to him...who knew, but it was clear she wasn't going to agree or disagree with Rae at the moment. There was no point. They were both to stubborn creatures.
Cerridwen studied Rae for a minute, the Scottish...was she Scottish? Maybe it was Irish? Never the less it didn't matter. Why hadn't she ever gotten along with this foreign vixen. Though it wasn't like Cerridwen had actually tried. She really hadn't, it was just...'Oh you pose as a threat...you might take Eryk I don't like you' and yeah, they had gotten better but it was still there, and Cerridwen was trying her hardest to get that deep dark feeling to go away. She liked Rae, and she had nothing to fear. Rae wouldn't do that...to her, to Eryk...would she? Of course she wouldn't this was just Cerridwen's insecurities getting the best of her again.
Cerridwen snapped back to attention when Rae began speaking again. "Sex isn't a bad thing...Violence happens, she's seen it..." Cerridwen murmured wishing those words were a lie. She wished they were but with Xavier? Mae had seen it, the damage, the violence, maybe she hadn't seen the fight per say, but she had certainly witnessed the damages of violence. "You will meet her, at the wedding for sure, if not sooner. I'm almost positive of that. "Cerridwen assured her with a light tone and an easy smile.
Ahhh. Now onto the part she so loved.
"Rae...I want my wedding to be at dawn...alright? It's just what I want. I mean it was either dawn or the full moon...and I think we both know why we're not doing it at the full moon...and the reason I wanted the full moon was because my flowers, they are at their best then...by dawn they're still alright, but not as strong, a lot weaker, and then by sun-up they're just...worthless and they wilt. So that's why. It's Eryk and I special flowers...I plan to use them"Cerridwen murmured defensively. Rae might find it stupid and ridiculous, but Cerridwen was quite proud of her flowers and planned to have her wedding the way she wanted, whether Rae liked it or not. "Plus the first rays of light will look beautiful coming across freshly fallen snow..."Cerridwen nodded. Clearly a romantic at heart, though sometimes she certainly didn't come off as one.
One thing was for sure about her though: She was the type to have to have everything perfect. If ti wasn't, then she would be very stressed out, and for once she just...wanted the attention on her...and to give Eryk a real reason to say she looked beautiful. Once again, her insecurities were coming into play.
Cerridwen rolled her eyes at Rae. "Honestly Rae...if you don't want to come you don't have too. We're having a party...reception thing afterwards." Cerridwen mumbled only slightly agitating. "And no you don't have to bring a date and yes, just for your comments...you've got to wear a dress. A cute dress, one with frills and lace galore" Cerridwen snapped testy at the moment because of Rae. Not the best way to get on the Fae's good side. Rae was just perfect at pissing Cerridwen off sometimes. Couldn't she just say okay I'll be there to support my pack mate and leave it at that? Apparently not...no, Rae had to go on and on.
This after all was Cerridwen's wedding...why was Rae-- Oh no.Those thoughts were back. She needed to stop. Taking a deep breath, Cerridwen plastered on a small fake smile and shrugged. "Forget it Rae...do what you want. I don't care" Cerridwen murmured. She was trying to get along with Rae. More for Eryk then anything else, though it wouldn't be bad to try and get along with her and be friends with her. After all Rae HAD offered to take her to lunch and carried her bags for her...that was pretty nice of her. Something Cerridwen would not forget.
"Well hm. If you'd like to meet Mae, I was going to throw her a small birthday...if you'd like to join us your more then welcome...say you'll come yeah?" Cerridwen asked hopefully. "Though there will be no 'lasses' you might still have fun, and then come with Eryk and I after...I guess and hang out with us losers if your time permits" Cerridwen shrugged. Her and Eryk were both a bunch of losers, but they were amazing losers. They were the cool kind that just relaxed and were much more-- Well Eryk was, much more laid back then the normal person. Cerridwen COULD be laid back on something but other things she just got so worked up about. Though they've had their moments when they've changed roles. Example? When Eryk started freaking out about them not using anything, how he could have gotten her pregnant, more then once even, Cerridwen just told him to shut up and relax. he had snapped at her, and then they had, ended up winging it and having more sex. Lovely. Just a great way to work out their problems yeah?
Then again her and Eryk could do that...right? Leaning in on the table, her elbows up on the table now, Cerridwen looked to Rae. She looked so wise, like she knew the answers...maybe she could help.
Cerridwen took a deep breath. This was a little awkward talking to your fiance's pack mate...then again it wasn't like any of this was normal. After all she was a werewolf and herself a fae. Nothing normal aboutt his at all. "Er...I have a question Rae..." Cerridwen admitted and took another deep breath. "So...Eryk and I, well we had um a sort of freak out a few nights ago...and I was well we...we solved it, but...er. Well instead of solving it, I won't lie we ended up having..." Cerridwen trailed off leaving Rae to use a little common sense and figure out what she was saying.
Running a small hand through the left side of her hair, Cerridwen shrugged. "I mean...is that really solving an answer, or well see I think it was creating a new one...because the whole problem was about not you know...using er." Cerridwen blushed slightly. My, didn't she feel in the sharing mood today. "Er protection...and well, I don't know if we've created an even bigger problem, he's just been on edge a lot lately and I don't like it and I'm afraid it's my fault, and he just totally spazzed out the other night when he had suggested the mere fact, and I mean I hadn't been you know taking anything because he'd been in the nut house for x amount of months, and I mean what the hell was I suppose to do? It wasn't like I had been planning to do him in the forest, or you know when we got home...er...and after our little freak out..."Cerridwen muttered bowing her head down now looking away in embarrassment.
It was coming up. Word vomit. It just kept slipping...until she had practically the whole story out. Rae was Eryk's alpha...she helped. She solved problems, maybe she could do Cerridwen a favor. "Maybe you could find out for me...er...what's keeping him on edge? I mean I know I'm not..." She trailed off again not saying it. Why say it when it's not true. "And I certainly KNOW that I don't have any type of...disease or anything and I'm pretty sure...wow...okay I'm voer sharing.." Cerridwen said and grew silent her face now burning with heat. Cerridwen really just knew how to make things awkward didn't she. Yeahhh and now Rae probably didn't want to talk to her and was probably planning her escape.
Though this was bugging Cerridwen. Something was bugging Eryk and in turn it bugged her. He bugged her. She loved him, and he needed to know that he could share anything with her and she wouldn't judge him...out loud. She would keep her thoughts to herself but she would love him no matter what was said or happened. He just needed to realize this. Was he as insecure as she was? Or was it something bigger? Xavier was gone as far as she knew, though how Eryk ended up on her couch all beaten like that..she had just told herself over and over he was attacked, an animal, but deep down somewhere...she knew.
Xavier.
Xavier was the cause of all their relationship related problems.Whenever they would break up and get together, it was because of him, when ever they would argue, it would be over him, everything, about Xavier. He was enjoying it too. He loved it. He was just...watching all of this going down and laughing at them. She was not as happy go lucky as she came off to be. In fact Cerridwen was a liar. A very good one at that. She could mask her emotions, keep a stone face. One of her natural normal, non-magical talents. She was quiet gifted in that aspect. If she needed to lie, she could stare directly into your eyes and lie. If she needed to cheat, she could, not that she did, and she did not use this for evil, though on occassion she had used it on an exam or a quiz.
Though right now, she was being totally completely serious. She was a very distraught Fae. Very confused, unsure of what to do. She was lost in the fog, and now she was going to use one of her life line's and get herself out and home safely.
